Custom Apparel for Restaurants & Hospitality Teams

Your front-of-house team is your brand. Inconsistent, worn-out staff shirts send a message — and not the one you want. Breaking Free Industries makes custom screen-printed and embroidered apparel for restaurants, food trucks, bars, hotels, and hospitality businesses that need consistent, professional gear without factory minimums.

50-piece minimum. 7–10 business day production. Get a quote within 24 hours.

What We Outfit

From a single location to a multi-unit group, we handle the full range of hospitality apparel needs:

  • Staff and server shirts — embroidered polos, screen-printed tees, and branded button-downs for front-of-house teams
  • Kitchen and back-of-house uniforms — durable, washable apparel built for a working kitchen environment
  • Management and host apparel — elevated embroidery on nicer blanks that holds up in guest-facing situations
  • Event and grand opening gear — fast-turn shirts for pop-ups, new location launches, and catering events
  • Food truck branding — branded crew shirts that reinforce your visual identity at every window
  • Branded merchandise — custom tees and hats for guests to buy, wear, and become walking ads for your restaurant
  • Seasonal and themed apparel — holiday event shirts, themed crew gear, and limited-run items for special programming

Why Restaurants Work With Us

  • 50-piece minimum. You don’t need to over-order to get fair pricing. Most restaurant teams fit comfortably in the 50–200 piece range.
  • Consistent reorders. We keep your artwork on file. When you hire new staff or open a new location, reordering is fast.
  • Embroidery that lasts. Screen printing is great for event shirts. For daily staff wear, embroidery holds up through industrial washing and repeated use far better than printed graphics.
  • We’re local. Based in Santa Ana. You can pick up in person, inspect the run, and avoid shipping delays when you’re on a tight launch timeline.
  • Second-chance employment. Every order supports our mission of hiring people returning from incarceration. For mission-aligned restaurants, that matters.

Print Methods for Hospitality

  • Embroidery — the standard for restaurant polos, staff shirts, and management apparel. Professional, durable, and holds up through high-frequency washing. Quoted by stitch count.
  • Screen printing — best for event shirts, merchandise, and back-of-house crew tees. Sharp results at volume with cost dropping per piece as quantity goes up.
  • DTF (Direct to Film) — full-color printing for complex logos, food truck branding with gradients, or branded merch with photographic detail.

Not sure which method fits your design and use case? Tell us what you need and we’ll recommend the right approach.

Pricing Overview

  • Embroidered polo or staff shirt: Quoted by stitch count and garment — typically $4–$8 per piece over the blank cost at 50 units
  • Screen-printed event tee, 1-color: Starting ~$8–$12 per piece at 50 units
  • Branded merch tee: Quoted based on blank quality, print complexity, and quantity

We don’t publish a full price sheet because garment and design variables create too many combinations. Fastest path to a real number: submit your project details.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s your minimum order?

50 pieces per design. You can mix garment sizes and styles within that run.

We need shirts fast for a grand opening. Can you rush?

Rush production is available. Tell us your date upfront in your quote request and we’ll confirm whether we can hit it before you commit. We don’t take rush orders we can’t deliver.

We have multiple locations. Can we order for all of them at once?

Yes. We handle multi-location orders and can ship to multiple addresses. Let us know your distribution needs when you submit your project.

We need to reorder as we hire. How does that work?

We keep your artwork and production specs on file. Reorders move faster than first orders. Many restaurant clients reorder 2–4 times per year.

Can we sell branded merch to guests?

Yes — and we’d encourage it. Branded restaurant merch is an underused revenue stream. We can help you think through blank selection and print approach for sellable merchandise.
